Dr. Fatemeh Ahmadi

Dr. Fatemeh Ahmadi is a faculty member of the Department of Occupational Medicine, who started her activities in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) in 2015. Her main research areas are work-related cardiovascular disorders and hepatic diseases and occupational cancers. In 2015, she was ranked second in the specialty national board exam of occupational medicine. To date, Dr. Ahmadi has been the executor in two research projects entitled the “Evaluation of Association of Individual, Occupational and Psychosocial Factors with the Prevalence of Back Pain in the Workers of the Steel Industry” and “Evaluation of the Occupational Risk Factors in the Breast Cancer Patients Referring to the Oncology Departments of the Hospitals Affiliated to MUMS.” She has published two articles in foreign journals, the latest of which is entitled the “Assessment of the Risk Factors for Back Pain in the Workers of the Steel Industry.” The article was published in the Asian Spine Journal in 2016, which has been indexed in the PubMed database. It is notable that Dr. Ahmadi presented a lecture in the 7th National Congress on the Occupational Medicine and Work-related Illnesses in 2015 in Tehran. Some of the main outlines of the congress were occupational health, work-related illnesses, professional ethics in occupational medicine, professional health and occupational medicine, coroners and occupational medicine, ergonomics, recording and reporting work-related illnesses, novel diagnostic methods for work-related illnesses, evaluation methods, fitness evaluation methods in jobs, and paraclinical approached in occupational medicine.
