Dr. Farzaneh Rahimpoor
Dr. Farzaneh Rahimpoor is a faculty member of the Department of Occupational Medicine in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) and her research areas are the hearing loss associated with occupational exposure to noise and work-related infections. She has published 10 articles in creditable domestic and foreign journals. The latest article published by Dr. Rahimpoor, which has been indexed in the PubMed database, is entitled the “Simultaneous Effects of Exposure to Noise on the Blood Pressure.” She has presented articles in the international congress on the “Preventative Strategies for Infections in Patients”, and the article is entitled the “Evaluation of the Safety Status of Hospital Staff against Hepatitis B Virus.” Some of the leading outlines of the congress were infection control in hospitals and the community, vaccination and disease prevention, logical use of antibiotics, patient care-related infection (nosocomial infections) and infections related to medical equipment. It is notable that Dr. Rahimpoor was ranked second in the specialty national board exam in 2010. Furthermore, she was acknowledged as the premier occupational medicine expert in the 9th seminar for the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, which was held in Mashhad in May 2017. This seminar was launched with the slogan “Work Environment Stress: Public Challenges” in Razi Hall at the School of Health (MUMS) in Mashhad. During the ceremony, the primary industries in the field of professional safety and health and professional health experts were applauded and acknowledged.
