Dr. Ehsan Rafiei Manesh
Dr. Ehsan Rafiei Manesh is a faculty member of the Department of Occupational Medicine at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS), and his main research areas are work-related musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomics. He has presented articles in several domestic and international conferences, some of which include the International Congress on Occupational Safety and Wellbeing, 3rd International Congress on Occupational and Environmental Health, 7th National Congress on Occupational Medicine and Work-related Illnesses, International Congress on the Preventative Strategies of Infectious Diseases for Patients, and International Congress on Pediatric Dentistry. The latest foreign seminar that he participated in as a lecturer was the International Congress on Work-related Cardiovascular Diseases. Some of the leading outlines of the congress were returning to work after cardiovascular events, working shifts and cardiac disorders, effects of air pollution on the cardiovascular system, metabolic syndrome and occupational exposures, new occupational-environmental risk factors, and the benefits/risks of physical job activities. The presented article by Dr. Rafiei Manesh in the congress was entitled the “Evaluation of Occupational Physical Activity and Leisure Time in the Patients with Acute Coronary Syndromes.” In addition, he published a book named the “Health of Carpet Weavers” in 2010. It is notable that he has published 12 articles in the credible international journals. His latest article was entitled the “Evaluation of Back Pain Risk Factors in the Workers of the Steel Industry”, which has been indexed in the Asian Spine Journal and published in PubMed database. Currently, Dr. Rafiei Manesh is the dean of the Department of Occupational Medicine.
