Main Goal:

 Educating specialized assistants of occupational medicine about occupational diseases

 

Specific Goals:

1. Explain occupational health.

2. Define occupational health system.

3. Explain methods of preventing occupational diseases in environments.

4. Name and describe the musculoskeletal disorders of the upper limb.

5. Describe the types of occupational (mental) stress and give an example for each.

6. Identify and explain the carcinogen factors of the occupation.

7. Explain the occupational health management system.

8. Describe the occupational sound and hearing loss.

9. Express the types of occupational asthma; Symptoms, predisposing factors, methods of diagnosis and prevention.

10. Define the symptoms and methods of diagnosis of types of occupational dermatitis.

11. Identify the types of back pain and describe its occupational cause.

12. Name occupational eye diseases and give examples.

13. Identify occupational kidney diseases and describe one of them.

14. Explain the mechanism of the development of blood disorders caused by occupational exposure.
